Why Choose Me?
Choosing a gynaecologist is a personal decision. You’re trusting someone with your body, your health, and often your most intimate concerns. Here’s a little about what I offer — beyond just medical expertise.
You’re Not Just a “Case”
I see you as a whole person, not just a uterus or a list of symptoms. Your story, values, preferences, and goals matter. Every consultation is a conversation, not a lecture. I’ll take the time to listen carefully and explain clearly—so you feel heard, understood, and genuinely supported.
I’m also mindful that healthcare settings can trigger anxiety—especially if you’ve had difficult experiences before. I work hard to make this feel safe and manageable, whether you’re confident navigating health systems or feeling overwhelmed just getting through the door.
Expert Care That’s Tailored to You
I offer a wide range of gynaecological services, including advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, ultrasound, contraception, early pregnancy care, colposcopy, and complex condition management. Whether you’re dealing with endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, or something you can’t quite name yet—I’ll meet you where you are.
I personally perform your ultrasound assessment as part of diagnosis and surgical planning, so that you receive the most appropriate care right from the outset. It also means fewer steps and a more streamlined experience.
Surgical Excellence, With a Gentle Touch
I’m credentialed and experienced in complex procedures, including:
- Endometriosis surgery (complete excision of all stages)
 - Advanced hysteroscopic surgery
 - Minimally invasive fibroid and pelvic mass management
 - Risk-reducing operations salpingo-oophorectomy and hysterectomy
 - Gender-affirming pelvic surgery
 - Pelvic floor Botox and pudendal nerve block

When surgery is the right choice, I focus on precision, safety, and results — always tailored to your goals. You’ll also benefit from a multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach with a shared a commitment to excellence.
I Work With (Not On) You
Gynaecology often involves decisions that feel complex or emotionally loaded. My approach is collaborative: I’ll outline your options, give you my honest opinion, and respect your autonomy. You’re always in control.
There’s no pressure to jump into anything. You’re welcome to take time, ask questions, and come back when you’re ready.

A Safe Space for Real Conversations
Talking about your periods, sex life, incontinence, or how you’re feeling emotionally can be awkward. But you deserve care that doesn’t shy away from the whole picture.
You’re welcome to talk about:
- Pain with sex or orgasm
 - Mood and libido changes
 - Annoying periods
 - Painful bowel movements
 - Urinary or bowel leakage
 - Gender identity and affirming care
 - Shame, trauma, or discomfort
 - Healthcare or social anxiety
 - Anything else that’s affecting your wellbeing

This is a judgement-free zone. If it matters to you, it matters to me.
Communication That Suits You
Some people prefer email. Others want a quick text or WhatsApp message. Some just want a real-time phone call. I respect your communication preferences — because accessibility and clarity shouldn’t be a barrier to getting the care you need.
Body Positive. Goal Oriented.
Whatever your body looks like, wherever you are on your health journey — you’re welcome here. My care is body positive, inclusive, and focused on helping you meet your own goals, not some arbitrary standard. Whether that’s managing pain, preserving fertility, affirming your identity, or just feeling like yourself again — I want to help you get there.
No Assembly Line Medicine
I provide continuous care. That means you won’t be handed off to a rotating cast of doctors — you’ll see me. I handle your care from start to finish, so you’ll get continuity, context, and someone who knows your history when it matters.
Science-Driven, People-Focused
As a specialist, I stay up to date with the latest evidence and advances in the field — but I also know that research doesn’t always capture your lived experience. My goal is to blend science and sensitivity, offering care that’s both cutting-edge and kind.
Inclusivity Matters
My Auckland clinic is an inclusive space for people of all ages, backgrounds, bodies, and identities. I welcome LGBTQIA+ patients, people with disability, and anyone who’s ever felt dismissed or misunderstood by the medical system.
If you have specific access needs, cultural values, or past experiences that might shape your care, you’re encouraged to share them — I’m here to listen.
A Little Humanity Goes a Long Way
I’m a real person too. I know that seeing a specialist can be expensive, stressful, or emotionally loaded. I try to make things clear, transparent, and as low-pressure as possible. If we can share a laugh along the way, even better.
