Pricing

I know that seeing a specialist can feel like a big step — emotionally, physically, and yes, financially. So here’s a transparent look at how things work, so you can plan ahead and feel in control.

Consultation Fees

  • Initial appointment – $395 - $430 This first appointment gives us time to talk through your concerns properly, review any relevant history or test results, and start working out a plan together.
  • Follow-up appointment – $255
    These are usually shorter visits to check in on progress, review results, or tweak the plan.

Additional Costs

Sometimes, investigations or treatments may involve extra costs — like if you need an ultrasound, a minor procedure, or a test that’s not publicly funded. I’ll always explain the options (and their prices) clearly before anything goes ahead.

For example:

  • Pelvic ultrasound – from $250
  • In-room procedures (e.g. Mirena/IUD insertion, Pipelle biopsy) – from $240
  • Surgical procedures – pricing varies depending on the hospital and the procedure, but I can give you a detailed estimate after our consultation.

Surgery Costs

Pricing can vary depending on complexity and hospital provider. The estimates below are for single procedures including anaesthetic, surgical, hospital, and equipment fees, with routine follow-up appointments and administration.

Minor hysteroscopy and vaginal surgery

e.g. polypectomy, ERPOC, VIN excision, endometrial ablation, LLETZ

Typical range: $9,000 – $15,000

Minor laparoscopic surgery

e.g. cystectomy, oophorectomy, salpingectomy, resection of mild endometriosis

Typical range: $18,000 – $25,000

Major surgery

e.g. hysterectomy, myomectomy, resection of moderate or severe endometriosis

Typical range: $20,000 – $30,000

A Few Things To Know

  • There’s no pressure to do anything on the spot. You’ll get clear information and all the time you need to think things through.
  • I’m happy to work alongside your GP or public hospital team if that’s part of your care journey.
  • If you have health insurance, many policies will cover part or all of your fees. I can help with the paperwork if needed — no one enjoys insurance admin.
